TIM and Warner Bros. Discovery extend agreement

The entire Eurosport offer including live and on demand content will be available on TimVision following an extension of the agreement between Warner Bros. Discovery and the Telecom Italia plaform.

The agreement means all TimVision customers will have streaming service discovery+ and Eurosport included as part of their subscription. There are also two linear channels new to TimVision, Warner TV and CNN International.

“Thanks to this new agreement we further strengthen TimVision’s positioning as the main video streaming hub on the Italian market. TimVision customers will be able to follow, included in their subscription plan, the most prestigious national and international sporting events on Eurosport, as well as the most loved shows from the rich entertainment offering of the Discovery channels,” said Andrea Rossini, Chief Consumer, Small & Medium and Mobile TIM Wholesale Market Officer.

TimVision will offer almost total coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with 14 channels and over 2,000 hours live and on demand on Eurosport 1 and 2, Eurosport 4K and another 4 pop-up Eurosport channels that will be available for the duration of the Paris games.

Angel Yllera VP of TV Licensing, Affiliate Sales and Digital Distribution Warner Bros. Discovery Southern Europe said: “The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are an epic moment in the collective imagination, the sporting event par excellence, and being able to once again count on TimVision distribution guarantees the stage and visibility that our athletes deserve. Furthermore, alongside all the other sports content, the new agreement is enriched with the programming of two key brands in the Warner Bros. Discovery galaxy: Warner TV and CNN International”.

The live and catch-up TV will be available on the TimVision app and on a single decoder, the TimVision Box, included in all offers.
