SES Germany and teleshopping broadcaster QVC are extending their long-standing partnership.
With the new agreement, QVC has secured satellite capacity on the Astra position 19.2° East for its channels QVC HD, QVC2 HD and QVC Style HD for the next few years. The two companies already concluded an agreement last year to extend the Astra distribution of QVC SD and QVC2 SD.
“Live shopping with QVC on television has become an integral part of a distinctive lifestyle in many living rooms. The broadcast of the QVC channels via satellite, the TV distribution infrastructure with the widest reach, has made a lasting contribution to this success. We are very pleased to continue on this path with the extension of our trusting partnership,” said Christoph Mühleib, Managing Director of SES Germany.
