A1 has confirmed the rollout of Netflix in six territories in Central and East Europe.
It follows last year’s signing of a multi-year partnership between the Vienna-based business and the streaming service.
After an initial launch in North Macedonia, Netflix is now available in Austria, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
“With the launch of A1 & Netflix bundle offers in what is now the 6th A1 country, we have an even stronger streaming offering for our customers. In addition, with the cross-border project setup, we were able to set a benchmark for such a complex integration of a new service into our existing TV offering,” says Alejandro Plater, A1 Group CEO, pleased with the successful start.
Netflix is integrated on the Xplore TV Box, where customers can also access YouTube, Prime Video, Voyo, Canal+ and other OTT services.
