Fagor Electrónica has purchased the troubled Triax Digital Solutions as it looks to grow its multimedia solutions business.
Triax entered voluntary bankruptcy in September 2023 after Polaris Private Equity and Velatia Group were unable to ensure the company’s liquidity. The present company had been formed in April 2021 from the merger between Denmark’s Triax and the Spanish company Klode Media, the former Multimedia business unit of Ikusi.
Fagor Electrónica says it will maintain two offices in the Guipuzcoan towns of Arrasate-Mondragón and Astigarraga – where Triax Digital Solutions was based.
Fagor Electrónica plans to integrate its current Multimedia business into the new subsidiary created. It’s anticipating a turnover of €25 million for the new unit within four years.
The company says Fagor Multimedia Solutions will operate is an evolving market that includes value-added multimedia solutions and services for residential and business sectors.
