Android set-top box manufacturer inext has secured a new contract with Georgian telco TV Sarpi/Ayety.
The Slovakian/Ukrainian company will power the OK.TV service.
“inext’s main advantage for us was undoubtedly the modern multifunctional set-top box,” says Darya Voloshina, leading project engineer of TV Sarpi/Ayety. “It fully covered all the needs of our company, both in terms of software and high-quality and reliable hardware.”
As part of the package, the set-top boxes will be customised with the TV Sarpi/Ayety logo and the remote control will run with the Alcatraz cloud service, improving efficiency and security.
“We received significant and extremely positive experience from the project with TV Sarpi/Ayety,” says Maksym Schygol, product-manager inext at ROMSAT. “Accordingly, we are determined for long-term and fruitful cooperation.”
Last month, inext added SkyNet in Kyrgyzstan to its stable of customers.
