Sky Sport has retained exclusive broadcasting rights across all distribution channels in Germany, and non-exclusive rights in Austria and Switzerland.
The new agreement will come into effect immediately following the current contract and will run up to and including the 2027/28 season.
“The Premier League is undoubtedly one of the top rights in international sport. With this exclusive extension, we have secured an important right that clearly underlines our leading position in sport,” said Barny Mills, CEO of Sky Deutschland.
Sky Sport will continue to cover the Premier League in Germany extensively and will show all 380 matches per season in full, more than 250 of them live.
Sky regained the Premier League rights in 2018 following a three-year period when they were held by DAZN and renewed the contract in 2021.

Sky has the rights to the Bundesliga, 2 Bundesliga and the DFB Cup which with the Premier League will give it a combined 800 live matches. There is also Formula 1 as well as the recently acquired rights to the MotoGP, the ATP Tour and the WTA.
