TNT Sports will show England’s forthcoming cricket tour of India after agreeing a five-year deal with the BCCI and Pitch International.
Agreements with the cricket authorities in the sub-continent are notorious for being signed with just days to go – the First Test in Hyderabad gets underway on Thursday, 25 January – so TNT Sports has thought ahead and secured coverage of all international cricket hosted in India on its linear and digital platforms for the next five years.
This includes England’s next tour to India in 2028.
It’s predecessor BT Sport agreed a similar deal with Cricket Australia, which combines international cricket from the Baggy Greens and England’s Ashes tours.
TNT Sports also shows international cricket from the West Indies, but Sky Sports maintains its hold over domestic and international cricket played in England.
The five-Test series will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and its streaming platform discovery+. Production plans are yet to be announced.
