Michael Dorn has been named as Chief Sales Officer for Ad Alliance, the marketing unit of RTL Deutschland. He has been in post since January 1, 2024, and reports directly to Ad Alliance Managing Director Frank Vogel.
“With Michael Dorn we have an excellent manager from our own ranks,” said Frank Vogel, Managing Director of Ad Alliance. “He has known the market very well for many years, passionately represents our portfolio and understands the needs of advertising customers.”
Dorn has been responsible for agency and customer support at Ad Alliance as General Director Sales since June 2019. In addition, he was appointed General Director Negotiation in April 2022.
He joined IP Deutschland, now Ad Alliance, in 2009, where he held management responsibility for various sales areas from 2012 to 2019.
The graduate industrial engineer previously worked in sales at SevenOne Interactive and Mairdumont Media, among others.
Following the appointment, Vogel will concentrate on his role as Managing Director and the further strategic direction of the Ad Alliance.
