Women’s sports channel W-Sport has extended its reach to France with a new distribution agreement with Free.
The channel is being carried in the French language on the Freebox (the triple play box) basic tier (Channel 62).
The news follows distribution deals in 2023 in Belgium, Portugal, the Netherlands, Malaysia and Indonesia. W-Sport is also available in over 30 territories in Sub-Saharan Africa.

W-Sport, where women’s sport is our only priority.”
W-Sport’s content offering includes a mix of live and delayed premium event coverage across numerous sports as well as topical magazine programming and documentaries. Including England’s Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL), Germany’s Frauen Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A Femminile, Sweden’s Damallsvenskan and highlights from France’s Arkena D1 Feminine.
The channel was launched in September 2021.
