The Cologne exhibition and conference says 350 exhibitors have so far registered, including 70 newcomers, ahead of the closing date for the first round of exhibitor registrations on 19 January 2024.
Bookings already amount to more than 80% of the exhibition space of the record year 2023 with an amazing 25,000 gross square metres taken.
In addition to sellers of telecommunications and media technology, the operators of fibre-optic networks themselves will be represented more strongly than evee. Deutsche GigaNetz, OXG Glasfaser and Vodafone top the list with more than 70 square meters each. Other network operators with their own stand space include: Deutsche Glasfaser, DNS:NET, envia TEL, EWE TEL, GasLINE, metrofibre, Netcom BW, NGN Fiber Network, Plusnet, PYUR, UGG Unsere Grüne Glasfaser and VX Fiber.
“We are fully on track for 2024. The broadband and fibre-optic industry remains a stroke of luck. We are particularly pleased about the fantastic inflow of new exhibitors and the further significant increase in participation of the network operators themselves. This clearly shows how important Cologne is for them as a marketplace, both for their vendors and with regard to the municipalities, media and regulation,” said Dr. Peter Charissé, CEO ANGA COM. “The Cologne area is and remains the heart of the telecommunications industry; nowhere else in Germany and Europe do so many market leaders have such short distances to travel.”
ANGACOM will take place between 14 and 16 May 2024.
