Apple and Paramount Global have held discussions that could lead to a combined offer for their respective streaming services.
According to the Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the discussions, the combination of Apple TV+ and Paramount+ would be priced lower than when subscribing to the two services directly.
It would be the first time that two major streaming services have initiated a joint offer, although the Discovery+ bundle does so with Europe and TNT Sports, which it already has an interest in.
Outside of Netflix and Amazon, the world of streaming is full of sweetheart deals, from Paramount and Discovery+, both bundled into the Sky subscription, through to free months of Apple TV+ to purchasers of the Cupertino company’s hardware.
