Cycling channel GCN+ is to close after two years as part of plans by parent company Warner Bros. Discovery to consolidate its streaming services.
In Europe, GCN+ subscribers will now have the option to subscribe to access Discovery+, Eurosport or Eurosport Extra, where viewers can continue to watch live cycling. There will also be content on YouTube.
In markets outside of Europe, WBD is reviewing how content is delivered to its fans.
Prorata refunds will be made available to existing subscribers starting December 19.
The GCN website will continue to operate in its present form.
Warner Bros. Discovery acquired a stake in Play Sports Group, which operates GCN, in February 2017.
