Deutsche Telekom’s Greek subsidiary OTE has signed an MoU to facilitate the sale of Telekom Romania Mobile.
According to local reports, quoting a response fromn a request from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, OTE has confirmed it has undertaken negotiations with Quantum Projects Group, controlled by. Adrian Tom?a, the owner of the major Romanian media group Clever Media, regarding the sale of Telekom Romania Mobile.
These have resulted in it signing an MoU to facilitate the process, and this has now been submitted to the competent authorities in Romania.
Broadband TV News notes that OTE previously sold a 54% stake in Telekom Romania’s fixed line business to Orange. It agreed on the transaction in November 2020.
