Revamped streaming service ITVX had a successful first nine months of 2023 as total streaming hours grew by 27%.
In turn digital revenues grew by 23% over the period.
“Growth in digital advertising revenues continues to outperform other broadcasters reflecting ITVX’s compelling viewer and advertising proposition, said ITV Chief Executive Carolyn McCall.
The broadcaster said monthly active users continued to “grow in line with our expectations”.
Love Island, the Women’s Football World Cup and the Rugby World Cup all achieved large broadcast and streaming audiences.
Studios, where ITV has acquired a number of smaller production companies, grew by 9% – again outperforming the market as a whole. ITV Studios is producing two big budget programmes Franklin and Physical S3, which will be seen on AppleTV.
