Streamz expands its offering with the best of Paramount+

November 2, 2023 13.18 Europe/London By Julian Clover

The Flemish streaming service Steamz has significantly expanded its catalogue following an agreement with Paramount Global Content Distribution.

As of late 2023, Streamz subscribers will have access to various new and classic series from the award-winning Paramount Pictures, CBS Studios, and Showtime. Streamz will launch several recent hit series this autumn, such as Poker Face, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and the now-cancelled Rabbit Hole, as well as well-known classics like Twin Peaks and PAW Patrol for the youngest viewers.

Bart De Groote, CEO of Streamz, said: “Paramount+ is internationally renowned for its high-quality offering of recent award-winning top series, iconic classics, and major blockbusters. From December, our Streamz viewers will be the only ones in Flanders to have access to this exceptionally extensive catalogue.”

Dan Cohen, Chief Content Licensing Officer at Paramount+ and President of Republic Pictures, added: “Paramount is synonymous with high-quality entertainment among European audiences. We are delighted to partner with Streamz to introduce the Paramount+ brand in Belgium. With the expansion of our licensing agreement with Streamz, we can offer Streamz subscribers a convenient, all-in-one brand space to watch beloved recurring favorites and discover new content.”

Streamz is the Flemish streaming service, founded in September 2020 by DPG Media and Telenet. Streamz offers a wide range of local fiction series, including ‘Streamz Originals,’ and an extensive catalogue. Additionally, the platform provides a large international offering and, on Streamz Premium+, hundreds of recent films. Streamz is available to everyone in Flanders through the Streamz app and the website on all devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop, smart TV, Chromecast, and Apple TV).
