The streaming service Paramount+ will launch its Premium plan in Australia, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico on November 16, with additional markets to follow.
Meanwhile, its Ad tier will roll out in select international markets, including Australia and Canada, starting in 2024. In Mexico and Brazil, Paramount+ will continue to offer the Mobile tier instead, which launched in April.
Commenting on the rollout, Marco Nobili, executive VP, and international general manager for Paramount+, said: “After expanding our footprint to more than 45 markets last year, we are focused on scaling our business and providing customer choice. Following the launch of the Mobile plan in Mexico and Brazil, the introduction of the Premium and Ad-supported plans will give us the ability to better serve different consumer segments by providing multiple pricing options while also tapping into tremendous opportunities among our advertising and brand partners”.
The Premium plan will be available on the Paramount+ App on Apple iOS, Apple tvOS, Amazon Fire, Google, Roku, and Samsung at launch while also on LG, VIDAA/ Hisense, Xbox, and Amazon Prime Video in 2024.
The Premium Plan will launch in Australia for AUD13.99 AUD monthly and AUD124.99 annually, in Brazil for BRL34.90 monthly and BRL309.90 annual, in Canada for $CAD13, monthly and $CAD124.99 annual and in Mexico for MXN179 monthly and MXN1609 annual.
