Orange lost 100,000 DTH subscribers in Poland in the year to September 30.
This was partially offset by its IPTV customer total growing by 73,000 over the same period.
Results published by the Polish incumbent show that it ended Q3 with a total of 936,000 TV subscribers, down from 963,000 a year earlier. Of these, 827,000 (839,000) were B2C convergent. Its IPTV and DTH subscriber totals were 867,000 (794,000) and 69,000 (169,000) respectively.
Orange Polska’s retail broadband subscriber total at the end of Q3 stood at 2,811,000, up from 2,793,000 a year earlier. Of these, 1,300,000 (1,120,000) accessed services via fibre.
The company’s revenues in Q3 amounted to PLN3,115 million (€ ), or -0.3% less than in the same period last year, while its net income increased by 22.8% to PLN237 million.
