Netflix is to venture into retail with the opening of two that will combine merchansise sales with experiences based around its programme library.
“Netflix House will allow fans to experience their favorite Netflix movies & television shows in new and deeper ways,” said Josh Simon, Vice President of Consumer Products at Netflix.
The first two locations will be established in the United States during 2025 with plans for a later global expansion.
As well as the themed merchandise there will also be a dining experience that will draw inspiration from some of the streamers food-based reality shows running from high end to causal dining.
If real life gaming is your thing then try an obstacle course based on the hit series Squid Game, though hopefully you’ll be able to continue your purchases if you come last.
Netflix is still in the process of deciding where the Netflix House will be situated.
The company already runs an online store featuring everything from Stranger Things Christmas Ornaments to a sleeping bag modelled on its now defunct CDs by post service.
