Vlad Bontea and Pavel Popescu have been appointed VPs of the Romanian regulator ANCOM.
News of their appointment, made by the Romanian Parliament, were announced in the Official Gazette of Romania dated October 10. Their term of office will be six years.
Broadband TV News notes that the appointments have been criticised by parliamentarians on the grounds that Bontea and Popescu have little if no experience in the electronic communications industry.
