Kosovo’s Independent Media Commission (IMC) has told operators in the country to stop rebroadcasting Serbian sports channels.
According to Balkan Insight, this follows messages the channels carried supporting armed Serbs killed during a shootout with Kosovo police in Serb-majority northern Kosovo.
It adds that the decision affects 10 Arena Sport channels owned by Telekom Srbija.
The shooting has also caused controversy at the Kosovan public broadcaster RTK, with the director of its second, Serbian-language, channel suspended for 30 days.
