Monika Garbaciauskaite-Budriene is to serve a further five-year term as director-general of the Lithuanian public service broadcaster LRT.
Ms Garbaciauskaite-Budriene has more than 25 years experience as a journalist, working for Lithuanian regional and national media outlets, together with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
She was editor-in-chief and columnist at the largest Lithuanian digital news platform DELFI.lt for almost 17 years.
She was elected for an initial five-year term in 2018
Ms Garbaciauskaite-Budriene is also a member of the EBU’s Executive Board and serves on the Audit Committee.
