The Russian operator MefaFon is now offering its subscribers more than half the streaming services available on the market.
According to the company, this follows the addition of Wink and more.tv to its MegaKino subscription. They join ivi, Okko, Start and Premier, with the subscription price remaining unchanged.
MegaFon adds that, according to J’son & Partners’ research, the six streaming services now in its offer accounted for around 54% of the Russian market in terms of revenue and over 40% in subscriber numbers in 2022.
Commenting on the addition of more services to MegaKino, Pavel Tulubiev, MegaFon’s commercial director, said: “We are glad that such online video giants as Wink and more.tv have joined our MegaKino subscription. Now our subscribers have access to six online cinemas with the widest possible selection of video content, while the price of such a subscription is the same as if they were paying only for one video service. We believe that this method is most beneficial for the viewer. In fact, our subscriber pays only for what he watches, always having the opportunity to switch to any other cinema from the MegaKino menu”.
