Hrvatski Telekom upgrades consumer offer

September 29, 2023 09.10 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) has added the latest devices, higher broadband speeds and new packages to its Magenta1 offer.

In its new fixed service packages, the internet speed is now the highest available and state-of-the-art WiFi6 technology even more accessible.

The new packages also give every household a unique MAXtv television experience. The MAXtv application is significantly improved, and as part of the upgrade and modernisation, Android TV and Apple TV device platforms were also developed and full functionality will be available by the end of the year.

Commenting on the upgrade, Natasa Rapaic, management board member and COO residential at HT, said: “Hrvatski Telekom is the leader in network, content, technology, and customer experience. And we are not those who say it, the users do. An important part of this equation is our investments, which have been the largest on the market for years. Case in point, in the first six months, we have already invested more than €233 million, which is twice as much as in the same period last year, and we have already invested more than other operators plan for the whole year. The key to success is that by constantly innovating, improving, enhancing services and digital tools, and setting industry standards, we prove to our users why we are the best telecom and partner. All this is also reflected in the perception of our brand, where according to the main criteria – reliability, network coverage, internet speed, digital solutions, service quality, and social responsibility – users rate us as the number 1 brand. Our job is to build networks, but our vision is to connect everyone’s personal and business lives. We incorporated that into the message of our new campaign, ‘Povezuje nas vise od mreze’”.

Ivan Runje, director of the product management sector, added: “The key to differentiation today is customer experience. That is why when designing each product, whether it is the largest selection of television content, cutting-edge WiFi technology, or the latest generation of internet security, we are guided by what value we create for the user, and that is our main metric. At the centre of managing the home experience is the Moj Telekom app, currently used by more than 700,000 active users. Customer satisfaction is the highest ever in the history of HT, and digital users are the most satisfied. This is an incentive for us to develop new functionalities to make life easier for customers”.
