Romania’s Digi is reportedly in talks with Macquarie and abrdn to sell its fibre network in Spain.
According to Profit, the operator is looking to secure more resources to continue its accelerated growth in the country.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, in March this year Digi Spain Telecom entered into an investment agreement with abrdn to finance the rollout of a FTTH network in Andalusia.
The deployment will require an investment of up to €300 million, committed in substantially equal parts by Digi Spain and abrdn, and potentially also involving bank financing.
