Free football from Germany for international markets: Germany football association DFB plans to launch FAST Channel DFB Play TV soon.
The ad-financed streaming service will show live and on-demand content from the DFB Cup (men’s and women’s), the women’s Bundesliga, the U 21, U 20 and U 19 national leagues as well as the home games of the women’s national team and the 3rd league.
With the move, DFB wants to make more German football content available to an even larger international audience, according to a statement, adding that DFB Play TV will launch in several markets in the coming months.
The FAST Channel will complement the existing OTT service DFB Play, which is available internationally on iOS and Android devices as well as on the web. Selected live and on-demand content will continue to be offered via DFB’s YouTube channel and on social media platforms.
