The tower company Cellnex is looking for partners with a financial profile for its operations in the Nordic countries.
According to Cinco Dias, they can be either pension fund managers or investment funds specialised in infrastructure. It adds that Cellnex already has partners in some other countries it is present in, including Swiss Life Asset Managers in Switzerland.
Cellnex has had a presence in the Nordic countries since acquiring Hutchison’s telecom towers.
As of the end of H1 it had 2,955 locations in Sweden and 1,602 in Norway, with its assets in the region valued at around €1 billion.
The company has reportedly hired AZ Capital to assist with any transaction it undertakes.
