CANAL+ Group and OPT Group are launching a joint telecommunications and television packages in French Polynesia.
The two partners, who have worked together for several years, will now introduce a combined offer.
Jacques du Puy, President of CANAL+ International said: “I am very pleased with this partnership with ONATi, which will allow us to expand our presence in the Polynesian territory through offerings that meet the new expectations of this market, and more broadly, strengthen our foothold in the Pacific region, where CANAL+ is already well established.”
The group of 5 archipelagos will cover an area the size of Europe.
“The OPT Group is excited about the enhanced partnership between CANAL+ and ONATi, as it will bring a new dynamic to the audiovisual sector by offering new channels, services, and features to all Polynesians,” said Jean-François Martin, CEO of the OPT Group.
The first services are expected to launch in the autumn.
