The Polish public broadcaster TVP is encouraging viewers to switch from one of its streaming services to the main TVP VOD.
In a statement on the stream.tvp.pl sit it says: “Dear user. Check now the possibility of watching TVP channels in the TVP VOD app. For no payment watch up to 35 channels: among them TVP1, TVP2, TVP Sport and many others”.
Separately, TVP has announced that its kids channel TVP ABC will from September 4 only be available terrestrially on MUX-6, with distribution on MUX-1 ending on the previous day.
TVP already uses MUX-6 to distribute TVP Polonia, TVP Nauka, TVP Dokument, TV Rozrywka, Alfa TVP, TVP Kultura, TVP Kobieta and Belsat TV.
