Romanian-owned Digi continues to gain more subscribers than any of its competitors in Spain.
According to Cinco Dias, quoting figures still to be confirmed by the regulator CNMC, it acquired 39,000 more mobile and 11,000 more fixed broadband customers in August.
Moreover, only Telefónica and Avatel are able to keep pace with it in the mobile sector, adding 2,000 and 6,000 customers respectively during the month.
However, Telefónica also lost some 10,500 fixed broadband customers.
Meanwhile, Vodafone lost around 25,000 mobile and some 8,500 fixed broadband customers, while Orange’s losses amounted to 20,000 (mobile) and 2,000 (fixed).
Although MásMóvil gained around 1,000 fixed broadband customers, it also lost around 8,000 receiving its mobile services.
