Total ad spend in Russia amounted to R315 billion (€3.05 billion) in the first half of this year.
According to Association of Communications Agencies (AKAR), this was 27% more than in the same period last year and 19% more than in H1 of “pre-crisis” 2021.
It adds that all segments showed a positive trend in the second quarter, with the volume of ad budgets increasing by 50%. This compared to 25% in Q2 2021.
AKAR notes that Russia’s regional ad market is also performing strongly.
It amounted to R21 billion in H1, or 25% more than a year earlier, with all segments except press enjoying double digit growth.
