The Spanish regulator CNMC has announced the death of its VP Angel Torres.
Torres belonged to the Superior Corps of Commercial Technicians and State Economists.
He was at one time executive director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, in Washington D.C.; economic and commercial advisor at the Permanent Representation of Spain at the OECD in Paris; and chief advisor of the Economic and Commercial Office at the Embassy of Spain in Rome.
He was appointed the VP of the CNMC in June 2020.
