KPN has launched a new channel dedicated to women’s sports on the Netherlands.
Available through the basic package, W-Sport shows football, motor sports, basketball, volleyball, amongst others.
ESPN, Viaplay and Ziggo Sport are already available through KPN, which is now looking to capitalise on the increasing popularity of women’s sport with W-Sport. “As a proud sponsor of the KNVB, the Orange and the Orange Lionesses and main sponsor of the Eredivisie football, KPN has a warm heart for the sport,” explains Jochem de Jong, VP Partnerships, TV & Entertainment KPN. “With the arrival of W-Sport in the Netherlands, a more diverse range of sports experiences is created and we at KPN can only applaud that.”
