United Media has signed a multi-year contract with Primeira Liga on exclusive rights to broadcast matches of the Portuguese football championship on Sport Klub channels.
They will be shown in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
Commenting on tha agreement. Nemanja Simeunovic, director of the Sport Klub, said: “We are very happy to allow our viewers to follow the events of the Portuguese Primeira Liga again from this week. It is a very high-quality competition with the well-known rivalries of Porto, Benfica and Sporting. It is one of the few leagues on the planet that has as many as six major world derbies per season. I am sure that week after week we will be able to offer a lot of excitement and quality football from a country that traditionally has a huge passion for football. We will enjoy with David Neres, Orkun Kökçü, João Mário (Benfica), Diogo Costa, Evanilson, Pepe, João Mário again, Mehdi Taremin, Fran Navarro (Porto), Marcus Edwards, Trincão (Sporting), Al-Musrati, Ricardo Horta ( Braga)”.
