Romania’s iNES Group has launched a new OTT platform named iNES Live.
According to Media Expres, quoting Economica, it is commercially available on the dedicated website www.ineslive.ro and has been developed for the linear distribution of TV channels at the national level, through subscribers’ own internet connections, using OTT technology. The service can be received both via local cable networks and WiFi and is available throughout Romania.
It adds that iNES Live is a multiplatform, multiscreen service and can be accessed through the same app – iNES Smart – that has been available to iNES customers since 2021.
iNES Smart offers over 100 channels, over 90 of which are in HD and some in 4K. It consist of three packages – iNES Live Basic, iNES Live Plus and iNES Live Premium, costing €5,€11 and €16 a month respectively, including VAT. It can be received on up to three devices in one location.
