Kalle Sandhammar has been appointed as the new CEO of the Swedish Educational Broadcast Company, Utbildningsradion.
The Swedish journalist and publisher was previously CEO, editor-in-chief and publisher of Upsala Nya Tidning, one of Sweden’s largest regional newspapers. Prior to that he served in the same role at the local newspaper Norrländska Socialdemokraten.
He was also been a manager in various positions at the national newspaper Dagens Nyheter, primarily working with their digital channels.
Sandhammar is 48 years old and will take up his position at Utbildningsradion this month.
