Magyar Telekom’s TV subscriber base in its home market Hungary grew by 4.5% in the year to June 30.
According to the company’s latest results, it stood at 1,405,235 as of the end of H1, with growth being driven by IPTV. Blended TV ARPU in H1 amounted to HUF3,878 (€10), or 10.4% more than a year earlier, while TV revenues rose by 15.7% to HUF32,429 million.
Meanwhile in North Macedonia, Telekom’s local subsidiary saw its TV subscriber base grow by 1.2% to 148,713 in the year to June 30.
However, TV revenue fell by 5.3% to HUF2,780 million.
