German network operator VSE NET has selected the white-label IPTV platform from IPTV service provider Ocilion.
The turnkey solution, which is delivered under the brand of the network operator or in the design of VSE NET’s white-label partners, expands the regional telco’s product portfolio. Existing customers are migrated to the new platform and new customers have the possibility to sign up for the TV service at any time.
The package provided by Ocilion includes 4K set-top boxes, first and second screen apps, channel packages including additional functions (replay, restart, pause/play, recordings), video-on-demand and catch-up services.
VSE NET, a subsidiary of VSE AG, which is majority-owned by the E.ON Group, has been on the market as a service provider in the telecommunications sector since 1998. The product portfolio includes services for business customers in the areas of telephony, internet, networking, data centre services, managed services and project-specific special solutions.
In 2011, the product portfolio of VSE NET was supplemented by the area of white-label services, which is being successively expanded and extended. The white-label portfolio now also includes Ocilion’s IPTV solution, which will be made available to white-label partners for their end customers.
“With the introduction of the Ocilion solution, VSE NET takes its triple play offer to the next level. Our white-label partners as well as their end customers will enjoy a TV offering that is leading in the German-speaking market. We are looking forward to a long-term partnership with Ocilion,” said Marc Kahabka, Managing Director of VSE NET.
Ocilion Managing Director Hans Kühberger added: “Thanks to our turnkey solution, VSE NET can easily migrate its existing customers to the new IPTV platform and on the other hand attract new customers and new target groups with a modern TV service. The presence of the company’s brand in combination with an attractive entertainment product in the living rooms of its customers also increases customer loyalty.”
