Krzysztof Zielinski has been appointed the director of the Polish public broadcaster’s thematic channel TVP Sport.
Sebastian Staszewski has become the deputy director – editor-in-chief and Jaroslaw Idzi remains deputy production director, while Marek Szkolnikowski, the former director of TVP Sport, will also remain at the public broadcaster.
Significantly, in a Twitter message Szkolnikowski confirmed recent reports that TVP recently secured the rights to a number of local football competitions including the Polish Cup.
