CME’s Voyo grows customer base

August 3, 2023 12.50 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The streaming service Voyo, which is operated by Central European Media Enterprises (CME), now has over 570,000 paying subscribers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Furthermore, according to TV Nova’s CEO Daniel Grunt, quoted by Digizone>, it gained 100,000 such subscribers in the first six months of this year.

In a press conference it was also announced that Voyo will be the primary show for Big Brother when it returns to TV Nova after 18 years.

As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Voyo surpassed half a million paying subscribers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia this April.

Voyo is available in all but one other CME market in Central and Eastern Europe.

The exception is Croatia, where it will launch on CME’s RTL later this month.
