Rakuten TV has announced the launch of a video streaming app for the PlayStation 5 gaming console.
The move is designed to make the streaming platform available to a broader audience.
With the addition of the Rakuten TV app for PS5, users can access a wide range of content directly from their gaming console. This includes options such as AVOD (Ad-Supported Video on Demand), TVOD (Transactional Video on Demand), and Live Channels. Viewers can buy or rent the latest Hollywood titles straight from the cinema, watch top Hollywood movies for free with ads, or explore various genres such as News, Movies, Kids, Sports, and entertainment through free TV channels.

The Rakuten TV app is now available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Poland, and Romania.
