The Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) saw a small reduction in its TV subscriber total in the year to March 31 in its hone market.
However, the take-up of TV services in its Montenegrin subsidiary CT increased slightly over the same period.
HT’s latest results show that as of the end of Q2 it had 534,000 TV customers in Croatia, down 0.7% from the 538,000 total posted a year earlier. However, TV ARPU increased by 3.6% to €12 over the same period.
Meanwhile, in Montenegro CT ended Q2 with 80,000 TV customers, up 3.4% on the 77,000 a year earlier.
HT Group had revenues of €250 million ((+6.2%) in Q2, while its EBITDA AL was €90 million (+4.4%). Net profit after non-controlling interests amounted to €26 million (+56.3%).
HT notes that its net profit of €53 million for the first half of this year was approaching pre-pandemic levels.
