Orange Polska ended the second quarter with a total of 937,000 subscribers to its TV services.
This, according to the company’s latest results, was down from 970,000 a year earlier.
Although its IPTV base is steadily growing, up from 768,000 to 853,000 in the year to March 31, its DTH subscriber total is shrinking more rapidly. In the year to March 31, it fell from 203,000 to 84,000.
Of Orange Polska’s total TV client base, 824,000 were B2C convergent in Q1 this year, down from 843,000 in Q2 20222.
Meanwhile in Romania, Orange ended the second quarter with a total of 1.2 million subscribers to its TV services.
Broadband TV News notes that Orange lists Romania, Slovakia and Moldova under its Central Europe division.
The three countries had a total of 1,489,000 TV subscribers in Q2, down from 1,766,000 a year earlier.
