Sky Deutschland will integrate the new German sports streaming service Dyn as an app in the user interface of the Sky Q box.
The move is part of a long-term partnership agreed by both sides. Dyn will show matches from several major German sports leagues live, including all games of the Handball Bundesliga, Basketball Bundesliga and Volleyball Bundesliga.
The subscription service will launch on August 23, 2023. Sky Deutschland plans to offer its customers an exclusive price advantage at launch; details are not yet known.
With the Dyn app, Sky is further expanding Sky Q as an aggregator. The platform already contains apps from streaming players such as Netflix, Disney+, DAZN, Amazon Prime Video and Paramount+.
