Welsh language channel S4C is launching on Freeview play, putting the channel into 16 million homes.
Viewers in Wales and across the UK will be able to watch dramas, documentaries, and sport on S4C Clic through their Freeview Play device.
In Wales, S4C Clic will be located on the service’s home page in Wales. It already holds the fourth slot in the Freeview EPG.
Sian Doyle, S4C’s Chief Executive said: “We are proud to be able to bring Welsh language programming to a new audience on Freeview Play.”
The first week of its launch coincides with S4C’s coverage of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and S4C viewers will be able to enjoy comprehensive coverage of the event.
