Zvezdan Martic has been appointed the president of the board of RTV Slovenia, effective July 14.
Martic is a long-time journalist at RTV Slovenia, where he held various roles. In the period from 2019 to 2021, he was assistant to the then director of TV Slovenia, Natalija Gorscak. He has announced major changes in the field of digitisation, which in his view the broadcaster is currently lacking.
Martic has also said there will be new directors for the broadcaster’s radio and TV services. One of his first tasks will be to review all contracts concluded by the previous management in the last six months and to cancel all illegal ones.
