Lukas Kubat has been appointed the CFO at Prima Group, one of the leading commercial broadcasters in the Czech Republic, effective August 1.
He is currently the director of strategy and distribution and will replace Ladislav Musil, who joined the group as interim financial director and will leave on July 31.
Commenting on the development, Marek Singer, CEO of the Prima Group, said: “I would like to thank Ladislav Musil for the cooperation so far and wish him many more successes in both his personal and professional life. At Prima, he managed the reconfiguration of the financial processes necessary for the successful transformation from a primarily television group to a multimedia house, which he succeeded in successfully.
“In the Prima Group, we like to give space to our internal talents to develop, which is why we decided to offer the position of financial director to Lukas Kubat, who has extensive experience in the field of corporate finance. In addition, he has a very good understanding of the media industry, its challenges and opportunities. Its goal will be the further development of dynamic business reporting, the support of synergies between the individual divisions of the group and the continuous improvement of the efficiency of processes”.
