OKAST and Broadpeak have linked hands to introduce the FAST 2.0 solution that combines personalization with distribution for traditional operators.
FAST 2.0 will integrate Broadpeak’s advanced Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) solution with the new version of OKAST Channels. Personalised channel content is curated through AI to best meet viewer preferences.
“We are particularly proud to introduce FAST 2.0 with Broadpeak. The solution meets our two highest objectives: to enable the distribution of FAST channels at the best cost for our publisher customers, while optimizing revenues by matching them to audience tastes,” said Cédric Monnier, co-founder, CEO, OKAST
Distributing channels to the various Connected TV platforms and applications incurs significant costs for publishers and complex management for channel editors. The introduction of “variant channels” enables the same video stream to adapt to diverse formats, cultures, and advertising rules of broadcast platforms, reducing distribution costs and simplifying editorial management.
“We are delighted to have partnered with OKAST to develop an advanced FAST personalization solution to increase additional revenue opportunities for content providers, TV channels, and video streaming platforms,” says Mathias Guille, Vice-President Cloud Platform, Broadpeak.
By integrating Broadpeak’s Advanced CDN solution into OKAST Channels’ distribution tools, FAST channels can seamlessly integrate into an existing pay-TV operators’ offerings.
OKAST and Broadpeak will be demonstrating the FAST 2.0 solution at IBC show in Amsterdam from 15-18 September, 2023.
