Italian media mogul and former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has left most of his fortune to close family and friends.
The German news agency DPA reported Thursday that his two eldest children from his first marriage, Marina and Pier Silvio, would be the greatest beneficiaries. Their inheritance includes the majority 53% in the holding company Fininvest that they will hold jointly.
Fininvest is the main shareholder in MediaForEurope (MFE), the former Mediaset, and majority shareholder in Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1.
The three children from his second marriage, Barbara, Eleonara and Luigi, will each receive shares in Fininvest.
Berlusconi also bequeathed €100 million each to his last partner, the 33-year-old parliamentarian Marta Fascina, and his brother Paolo.
