Sheila Cassells is to step down from the Audiovisual Anti-Piracy Alliance (AAPA) at the end of the year.
The executive director is retiring after 12 years with the organisation.
Cassells was previously Head of Economic Policy between 2001 and 2009 and before that was Director of Economic Regulation and Finance for Ofcom predecessor, the Independent Television Commission.
AAPA is now looking for a new executive director who would continue to work with AAPA’s 25 members in support of their anti-piracy activities, and law enforcement agencies such as Interpol, Europol and Eurojust, and other stakeholders who can help in the fight against piracy.
