Up to five thematic channels operated by the Polish public broadcaster TVP are now being distributed by the operators Play and UPC.
According to TVP, the channels in question are TVP Info, TVP Kultura, TVP Nauka and Alfa TVP.
Separately, the public broadcaster’s on demand service TVP VOD can now be received on Samsung TVs with the Tizen 3.0 operating system. As a result, the TVP VOD app is now available on over 84% of smart TVs in Poland. These include LG and Hisense as well as Samsung.
TVP has also released a new mobile app for the channel TVP Polonia, which is aimed principally at the Polish diaspora.
